An innovative solution has been developed using Smallworld technology to allow telecommunications companies to quickly validate and analyse fibre optic testing results from the field.

The image below displays the form used to match measured fibre testing db loss events to physical joint locations.

This allows the creation of useful reports and thematic maps to show the parts of the fibre optic network that need attention.
